Form & Verdict
C&D winner last August who subsequently added two AW wins, latterly in five-runner event at Newcastle (7f) off 3lb lower in March; looked a little unlucky when close third over C&D (good) off this mark in May and she's got a solid chance of giving Bahrain Champion Jockey Ebrahim Nader his first winner in Britain.

C&D winner (good) last August and has won twice on the AW since, the latest in a small field at Newcastle (7f) in March; 76-day break since then not a problem having won twice after similar absences; likely to go well.

Tends to win in her turn and it was a sixth success (second on turf) when taking 7f Doncaster handicap (good) five weeks ago; lesser form in two subsequent runs over that C&D, including when borderline tailed off a fortnight ago.

Belied her 20-1 odds with recent C&D success on good ground, taking Doncaster record to 2-5; incurs a penalty (future mark 1lb lower) but may well remain competitive kept to this venue.

Form & Verdict
Won two of her first three starts as a juvenile but she went off the boil in the autumn and has been disappointing this year, including in first-time cheekpieces at Pontefract (1m, good) a fortnight ago; declining mark and a visor is given a whirl but only market support would make her of interest.

Looked a nice prospect this time last year with wins at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) and Goodwood (1m, good to firm), but she has become disappointing; down another 2lb and needs the cheekpieces to help halt the slide.

Hit the ground running as a juvenile last term but her form tailed off at the backend and she hasn't rediscovered her best in four starts this year; did show a bit more on her last two starts, though, and her mark continues to come down.

Form & Verdict
Yet to score but after an inauspicious handicap debut/reappearance over 1m2f last month she was back in form with fairly close third of six at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) four weeks ago; should be okay back at 7f and can't be ruled out.

Made the frame in all three 2yo runs, but he started his handicap career with a remote last of six at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) this month; that was after 255 days off but he needs to bounce back with a personal best on this drop back in trip.

Made the frame on all three 2yo starts, most notably when third of 12 in Leicester maiden (7f, good to soft) in September; makes handicap/AW debut after 255-day absence but has plenty of scope for improvement in middle-distance handicaps this year.

Form & Verdict
Reappeared with a winning handicap debut at Doncaster (good to firm) in April but she was miles below that when favourite but tailed off at Salisbury (again 7f, good) four weeks later; that was too bad to be true and subsequent two-month break suggests something possibly came to light; might be worth another chance.

Palace Pier filly who was brought along steadily last autumn, going very keenly when last of ten in 7f Newmarket maiden in September; she's likely capable of better now going into handicaps for her in-form yard.

Five-time AW winner (including here) but she's 0-13 on turf and was never competitive at Epsom (7f, good to firm) a fortnight ago on her return from a break; might step forward from that but others have more pressing claims.

Has nothing to prove under the conditions having won five times over 7f-1m here during the winter, but they were all at Class 6 level and she may again find this sort of company a shade warm.

Verdict

Steadily progressive Stormy Music is of obvious interest on her handicap debut, while it might be best to forgive Mojito (second choice) her aberration two months ago. This could be a good opportunity for Ebrahim Nader to make his British breakthrough aboard HILLTOP (nap), however, as she likes it here and looked unfortunate over C&D off this mark last time. Kaori and Sayidah Aleen are also considered.[Richard Russell]
