Brian Healy 17 Mar 2019
Newbury is the feature meeting of the week with racing on Friday and Saturday.

Brian Healy looks ahead to this week's UK and Irish horse racing meetings; find out where there is horse racing taking place across the country over the next seven days.

Following on from the exploits of the Cheltenham Festival last week, thoughts now turn towards the start of the Flat season in just a few short weeks’ time as well as the Aintree Grand National Festival at the beginning of April.

The week following on from the Cheltenham Festival unfortunately doesn’t carry the same allure as the ‘greatest show on turf’ showpiece from last week; but there’s plenty of competitive horse racing action going to post over the course of the next seven days.

Newbury’s Saturday racecard sees Graded action go to post, while in Ireland it is the start of the Irish Flat Racing season with the Irish Lincolnshire Handicap going to post .
