With little over two weeks to go until the Cheltenham Festival, the big race action enters a slight calm before the Festival storm; and a new week of horse racing action kicks off on Monday.
This week’s feature races come from Kelso, where the Grade Two Premier Kelso Hurdle headlines the action; while Newbury’s Greatwood Gold Cup spearhead’s the racecard at the Berkshire venue.
MONDAY 27 FEBRUARY
The week gets underway with a low-key fixture list of just three racemeetings which takes in jumps action from Plumton and Ayr, while there is also all-weather racing on tapeta at Wolverhampton.
