Champion Hurdle Trial day is always a highly-anticipated afternoon for punters and trainers, but also for Unibet, who have taken over sponsorship of the feature race on the card. If you've never placed your horse racing bets with Unibet before, here are four reasons why they should be your bookmaker of choice this weekend!

To celebrate the start of the new jumps racing season, Unibet launched this fantastic welcome offer for new customers. Sign up today and get your money back if your first bet of up to £40 loses!

Not only will Unibet give you a free bet of up to £40 to replace your lost bet, but you'll also receive a £10 bet to use in Unibet's casino. A brilliant offer not to be missed!

Best Odds Guaranteed

Along with the The New One Unibet Hurdle, there are plenty of other fantastic races for punters to sink their teeth into this Saturday. Not only are Unibet offering top odds on Champion Hurdle Trial favourite Brain Power, but they also guarantee punters the best possible odds on all British and Irish racing!

ITV Racing Offer

Whenever ITV Racing hits out screen, Unibet boosts the number of paid places available on one selected race. On Boxing Day, it will be the Peter Marsh Handicap Chase at Haydock and users will have four paid places to play with at 1/4 of the odds.

Live Streaming

If you're unable to find a comfy seat in front of the television this Saturday and plan on watching your bets come on via your mobile, then Unibet really is the bookmaker for you. Place a bet of £1 or more on any horse race and you can stream the race live on Unibet TV!

Silver Streak cuts a striking image as he leaps a hurdle at Haydock.

The New One Unibet Hurdle Tip

Brain Power made a successful return to hurdling in the International Hurdle at Cheltenham before Christmas. The writing was on the wall as Nicky Henderson's charge tanked towards the final flight, with seemingly tons left in the tank, but I wasn't very impressed with the way Nico De Boinville's mount finished his race and I feel Brain Power could lack the change of gear needed to be a top-class two-mile hurdler.

Mohaayed and Western Ryder sit prominently in the betting, but I feel both would be more suited to handicap company. Global Citizen is a progressive hurdler I really like, but it's hard to knock SILVER STREAK'S credentials and I feel Evan Williams' charge can reverse the form of that International Hurdle.

As Brain Power cruised around the final bend, Barry Geraghty was already hard at work atop Silver Streak. Yet, Williams' charge kept responding, finding tons for the pressure and was closing on the winner with every stride before they crossed the line. Silver Streak was giving Brain Power four pounds that day, but there will be a big swing in the weights on Saturday, with the favourite now having to hand his rival a couple of pounds.

Unlike Brain Power, Silver Streak has good form here at Haydock, winning the Swinton Handicap over course-and-distance at the end of last season. This dazzling grey has progressed beyond belief over the past 12 months and Silver Streak shows no signs of slowing down. 3/1 looks a tasty price.

Sign up with Unibet today, place your first bet of up to £40 on Silver Streak in the The New One Unibet Hurdle and get your money back if he loses!
