Market movers and money spinners - Saturday's best backed horses and how to maximise your profits

Racing Tips Staff 24 Nov 2018
Might Bite has been very well backed in the Betfair Chase this morning.

We take a look at three of this morning’s market movers at Ascot and Haydock and show you the offers you can use to back them.

Haydock stages the first domestic Grade One of the season, with a stellar field set to take part in the Betfair Chase. Ascot also stages a fantastic card of their own, with the 1965 Chase and the Coral Ascot Hurdle headlining proceedings.

The betting markets for all of today’s major races have been exceptionally busy this morning and there have been plenty of big market moves. Here are three of the most significant sways of support and a trio of offers you can use to jump on the bandwagon.

SENIOR CITIZEN – 6s INTO 9/2

Ascot’s card this afternoon kicks off with an intriguing novices’ hurdle and Senior Citizen (12:20) is the only entrant currently being backed. The team of Adrian Heskin and owner, Max McNeill are expected to have a very successful campaign and Alan King’s novice comes into this race on the back of a strong victory at Chepstow in October.

Sign up with BetVictor today, place a £5 bet on Senior Citizen in the first race at Ascot and get £30 in free bets to use on the remaining races on the card.

CYRNAME – 7/1 INTO 7/2

When the betting for this handicap chase opened, Paul Nicholls’ Cyrname (3:15 Ascot) was a 7/1 shot behind stablemate Modus. However, since the rains have come to soften the Ascot turf, support has come flooding in for Cyrname and his price has been halved over the past 12 hours.
Black Friday isn’t just for shoppers, 888 Sport is also offering new customers this fantastic deal. Sign up, place your first £10 bet and, not only will you receive £30 in free bets, but you will also get a special £10 horse racing bet, which you could use to back Cyrname!

MIGHT BITE – INTO EVEN MONEY

“A Gold Cup in November” is the term many have used to describe this afternoon’s Betfair Chase (3:00) at Haydock and Might Bite has been all the rage in the betting this morning. Despite losing out to Haydock rival, Native River at Cheltenham in the spring, Nicky Henderson’s charge has conditions in his favour this afternoon and he’s being heavily backed in the betting.

Sign up with Betfair today and you can get Might Bite’s current odds of even money boosted right up to 50/1!
