Gone are the days when punters had nothing to do on Good Friday! Tomorrow, Lingfield will stage their popular All-Weather Championships Finals Day, where a staggering amount of prize-money will be put up for grabs once again.

The ITV Racing team will be at Lingfield to bring us the best of the action and our expert has picked out four horses to back using Ladbrokes special welcome offer.

Bet 1 – First £10 bet

Tom Dascombe’s stable star was pipped to the post by French Raider, City Light 12 months ago, with the winner going on to boost the form with a narrow defeat in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. That was a rare defeat on a left-handed turning track for Kachy, who clearly relishes the challenges posed by tracks like Lingfield and Chester. If the favourite makes his customary swift start and bags the rail from a wide draw, no-one in this field will be quick enough to catch Kachy.

Bet 2 - £10 Free Bet

Amade is the clear favourite to extend his unbeaten streak at Lingfield. However, the staying division – especially on the all-weather – is known for throwing up surprise results and SPARK PLUG is a horse I like to keep on-side.

Unlike many of the other horses in this race, Spark Plug remains fairly unexposed over two miles. Brian Meehan stepped his eight-year-old up to 16 furlongs for the first time at Kempton back in February, where Spark Plug was narrowly denied by Lingfield rival, Stamford Raffles.

Back in December, Spark Plug took the notable scalp of Verdana Blue over a mile-and-a-half, so it's clear he still holds most of his ability. This former winner of the Cambridgeshire remains open to improvement in staying races on the all-weather.

Bet 3 - £10 Free Bet

Island Of Life clearly has class and Rasima travels to Lingfield with obvious chances. I, however, feel CLON COULIS has been overlooked in the betting and it’s well-worth taking a chance on David Barron’s mare.

Clon Coulis secured black-type status with two excellent Listed victories during the summer of 2018, winning nicely on fast ground at Pontefract and Ascot. Barron’s charge then ran a nice race behind Veracious in the Atalanta Stakes, ending her four-year-old campaign with a three-length defeat.

Jamie Spencer was in the saddle as Clon Coulis clashed with Pattie on her all-weather reappearance. The margin of victory may only read one-and-a-half-lengths, but the favourite was very good value for that victory and David Barron’s horses have just started to hit their stride. Considering her rating and previous form, 9/1 looks massive to me!

Bet 4 - £10 Free Bet

A gelding operation, combined with a switch to artificial surfaces, has brought about a great improvement in Pizzicato’s form. Christophe Soumillon was in the saddle as the 3/1 shot won easily at Chantilly in Janaury and, after a narrow defeat at Cagnes-Sur-Mer, the duo teamed up again to land the Listed Prix Montenica during Cheltenham Festival week.

Pizzicato is clearly a very versatile horse, winning over a mile and six-and-a-half furlongs this term. Soumillon will be able to ride the four-year-old however he sees fit after landing a decent draw in stall eight and Pizzicato could prove himself to be the classiest horse in the race.
