Ascot races.

We've taken a look through various horse racing media publications to bring you which horses the newspaper experts are tipping on day four of Royal Ascot.

Rob Wright (The Times)
2.30 Daahyeh (9/2 Totesport)
3.05 Pondus (NAP) (11/2 Totesport)
3.40 Ten Sovereigns (5/4 Coral)
4.20 Castle Lady (7/1 Coral)
5.00 Lady Madison (14/1 Totesport)
5.35 Ben Vrackie (10/1 Coral)

Hugh Taylor (AtTheRaces)
2.30 Daahyeh (9/2 Totesport)
5.00 Maamora (16/1 Coral)
5.00 Invitational (10/1 Coral)
5.35 Baghdad (5/1 Totesport)

Matt Chapman (ITV Races)
2.30 Nayibeth (13/2 Totesport)
3.05 Japan (5/4 Coral)
3.40 Jash (5/1 Totesport)
4.20 Hermosa (11/10 Coral)
5.00 Whimbrel (20/1 Totesport)
5.35 Corgi (13/2 Coral)

Templegate (The Sun)
2.30 LAST SURPRISE (15/2 Totesport) could hardly have been more impressive on her debut at Lingfield a couple of weeks ago. She picked up well in the closing stages to put three-and-a-half lengths between her and runner-up Quiet Place.
3.05 The King Edward VII Stakes should be JAPAN (5/4 Coral) easy. He charged home when beaten just half a length by stablemate Anthony Van Dyck in the Derby. His jockey Wayne Lordan dropped his whip in the closing stages and, while it didn’t cost him victory, it hardly helped. He was only fifth best in the betting of Aidan O’Brien’s seven Derby contenders having been slightly disappointing when fourth in the Dante.
3.40 Coin it in by backing TEN SOVEREIGNS (5/4 Coral) in the Commonwealth Cup. Aidan O’Brien’s ace was the best juvenile over sprint distances for my money last season. It wasn’t hard to spot his talent early on. He breezed home by a whopping seven lengths on his debut before following up in equally-impressive style when returned to the Curragh for a Group 3 in September.
4.20 There's no stopping HERMOSA (11/10 Coral) in the Coronation Stakes. She’s gunning for a Group 1 hat-trick having caused a surprise in the 1000 Guineas and then followed up from the front in the Irish version at the Curragh. She was decent last season but no star. My fancy finished placed in three Group 1 races without being able to get her head in front where it matters but she has improved a huge amount since then.
5.00 Keep calm and back NONCHALANCE (11/1 Totesport) in the Sandringham Stakes. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if John Gosden’s filly develops into a Group performer. After showing plenty of promise on her debut at Wolverhampton she has taken apart good novice races at Haydock and Newmarket.
5.35 Put your faith in a Prince in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes. FUJAIRA PRINCE (13/2 Totesport) won twice from three starts last season at a lower level and he kicked off this term with a smooth Doncaster win. His neck second behind First Eleven – when Corgi and Collide filled the other places – is decent form. The winner is sure to be contesting Group races later in the season so that York contest is likely to prove really solid form.

Chris Cook (The Guardian)
2.30 Daahyeh (9/2 Totesport)
3.05 Japan (5/4 Coral)
3.40 Advertise (15/2 Totesport)
4.20 Watch Me (16/1 Coral)
5.00 Desirous (13/2 Totesport)
5.35 Baghdad (NAP) (5/1 Totesport)

Captain Heath's Trio (The Daily Mail)
3.05 Private Secretary (5/1 Totesport)
3.40 Ten Sovereigns (5/4 Coral)
5.35 Ben Vrackie (10/1 Coral)

The Scout (Daily Express)
2.30 JM JACKSON (12/1 Totesport)
3.05 JAPAN (5/4 Coral)
3.40 TEN SOVEREIGNS (5/4 Coral)
4.20 JUBILOSO (NAP) (6/1 Totesport)
5.00 LAYALEENA (14/1 Totesport)
5.35 FUJAIRA PRINCE (13/2 Totesport)

Steve Mullen (The Sun)
2.30 DAAHYEH (9/2 Totesport) impressed the clock watchers when scorching home to win on her debut at Newmarket last month. The form of that race has already been franked and she’s proven over this 6f trip which takes some getting for a two-year-old.
3.05 Dive into PONDUS (11/2 Totesport) for the King Edward VII Stakes. James Fanshawe’s colt is taking a step up in class here but deserves it after a superb win at Sandown last time out. He saw out the 1m2f trip well and gives the impression that stepping up again here will bring lots of improvement. He goes on any ground and has a lot more to offer with the yard’s horses running well.
3.40 JASH (5/1 Totesport) has lots of dash in the Commonwealth Cup. Simon Crisford’s flyer has already gone close in this Group 1 level when just behind hotpot Ten Sovereigns at Newmarket in September. He looked better than ever when winning a Listed contest at HQ on his seasonal comeback last month.
4.20 No explanation given, he just thinks HERMOSA (11/10 Coral) will win her third Group One of the season.
5.00 I fancy DESIROUS (13/2 Totesport) in the Sandringham Stakes. Ralph Beckett surely has more than a handicapper on his hands in this Kingman filly who impressed on comeback at Goodwood last time. She has clearly trained on well as she left her already solid juvenile form behind when stepped up to this trip for the first time. There will surely be a lot more to come and her current mark of 88 looks on the lenient side to say the least.
5.35 FUJAIRA PRINCE (13/2 Totesport) looks a royal bet in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes. Roger Varian’s five-year-old has few miles on the clock but has gone well on both starts this season when winning easily at Doncaster before finishing a good second in a hot race at York last time.

Sam Turner (The Daily Mail)
2.30 Lil Grey (NAP) (25/1 Coral)
3.05 Private Secretary (5/1 Totesport)
3.40 Jash (5/1 Totesport)
4.20 Hermosa (11/10 Coral)
5.00 Hotsy Totsy (7/1 Totesport)
5.35 Fujaira Prince (13/2 Totesport)

Timeform Tips
2.30 Daahyeh (9/2 Totesport)
3.05 Japan (5/4 Coral)
3.40 Ten Sovereigns (5/4 Coral)
4.20 Hermosa (11/10 Coral)
5.00 Hotsy Totsy (7/1 Totesport)
5.35 Corgi (13/2 Coral)
