Templegate (The Sun)
Ascot
2.00 DAKOTA GOLD (5/2 Unibet) can shine back in Listed company. He was a convincing winner the last time he tackled this level at York.

2.35 MORANDO (11/4 Coral) relishes some cut in the ground and can make his staying power tell. He went close in the Geoffrey Freer at Newbury last time when the soft going suited.

3.10 RAISING SAND (6/1 Ladbrokes) loves Ascot, this trip and soft ground. He should have all three boxes ticked today and has every chance. After an excellent third in the Royal Hunt Cup, he took the International Stakes over course and distance.

3.40 CAPE BYRON (15/8 Unibet) can add to his fantastic record at Ascot. He has already landed two big wins here this term. He kicked off with the Victoria Cup in May and showed that was no fluke by following up in the Wokingham over this trip.

Newmarket
1.40 EVA MARIA (11/4 Unibet) had loads left in the tank when winning on her handicap debut at Ayr last time. She did extra well to come from a long way back despite the slow pace to score going away.

2.15 UNDER THE STARS (13/8 Ladbrokes) can shine in this valuable contest. She’s taking a big drop in class after holding her own at the highest level.

3.25 IRIDESSA (10/3 Coral) loves this trip and bounced right back to her best when beating Laurens and Hermosa at Leopardstown last month. She stuck it out well when challenged in the closing stages and looked to have something left in the tank.

Redcar
2.55 SUMMER SANDS (5/4 Ladbrokes) ran an absolute cracker when third behind superstar Earthlight in the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket last time. That was a Group 1 race so this is a real drop in class to Listed level.

Matt Chapman (ITV Racing)
Ascot
2.00 Danzeno (5/2 Unibet)
2.35 Morando (11/4 Coral)
3.10 Escobar (18/1 Ladbrokes)
3.40 Cape Byron (15/8 Unibet)
Newmarket
1.40 Nearooz (15/2 Coral)
2.15 Under The Stars (13/8 Ladbrokes)
3.25 Hermosa (7/2 Unibet)
Redcar
2.55 Summer Sands (5/4 Ladbrokes)

Sam Turner (The Sun)
Ascot
