Kemp 2.05 Charbel (13/8 William Hill)

Warw 3.35 First Assignment (10/3 William Hill)

Chris Cook (The Guardian)

12.55 Lomachenko (6/4 Ladbrokes)
1.30 Amour De Nuit (13/8 Betfair

3.00 Cogry (NAP) (15/2 William Hill)
3.35 Holly Bush Henry (12/1 Betfair)
4.05 Dont Tell The Wife (25/1 Coral)

Templegate (The Sun)
Warwick 1.50 Knockout the bookies with ROCKY’S TREASURE (6/4 Ladbrokes). He’s taken to fences really well. His only defeat in five chase starts came when runner-up behind top prospect Santini on ground softer than ideal at Newbury’s big meeting early last month.
Kempton 2.05 Kim Bailey has been banging in the winners and his CHARBEL (13/8 William Hill) looks to have a great chance of keeping the hot streak going in the 32Red Casino Chase. He’s always had plenty of class and he’s now putting it all together. His Chepstow handicap defeat of Baron Alco worked out well and he then ran top-class Politologue close at Ascot.
Warwick 2.25 Go with the TIDAL FLOW (11/10 Ladbrokes) in the Ballymore Leamington Novices’ Hurdle. Champion jockey Richard Johnson teams up with his boss Philip Hobbs with this useful novice. I liked the way he saw off highly-rated Downtown Getaway in a good race at Newbury last month. His previous Kempton win came on good ground so he shouldn’t have any problem with today’s conditions.
Kempton 2.40 I fancy his LORD NAPIER (5/1 Coral) – ridden by his jockey son Sean – to land the Unibet Lanzarote Hurdle. He’s done his winning on softer ground but he’s run well on a quicker surface twice this season.
Warwick 3.00 STEP BACK (13/2 Coral) has been high on my list of staying chasers to follow this season after demolishing his rivals in the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown on the final day of last term. He was wearing cheekpieces for the first time that day and they’re back on again after trainer Mark Bradstock left them off for his comeback run at Chepstow.
Kempton 3.15 BARNEY DWAN (3/1 Ladbrokes) won a couple of novice races last season before finishing a good fourth behind Mister Whitaker at the Cheltenham Festival. The 2m4f trip was too sharp for him at Chepstow on his return and his Bangor third behind Yala Enki was a solid effort. He’s promised more than he’s delivered in the past but I’m hoping the cheek-pieces he wears for the first time will make a difference.
Warwick 3.35 KEEPER HILL (9/2 Coral) was a really smart novice hurdler a couple of years ago when he won the Listed Sidney Banks Novices’ Hurdle. After a promising start to his chasing career last season he lost his confidence so it was good to see him run so well when runner-up over hurdles at Cheltenham last month.

Timeform Tips
Kempton Park

3.15 Ballykan (4/1 Betfair)
3.45 Speed Company (10/3 William Hill)

1.50 Rocky's Treasure (6/4 Ladbrokes)
2.25 NR
3.00 Step Back (13/2 Coral)

Steve Mullen's ITV Tips (The Sun)
Kemp 2.40 SOLOMON GREY (12/1 Coral) will love stepping up in trip for the Lanzarote Hurdle.
He looked rustier than an old gate on his comeback run at Doncaster last time where the flat track, slow pace and 2m distance didn’t play to his strengths. He signed off last season with a gutsy win at Market Rasen where he went well to score from just 1lb lower in the weights than today.
Warw 3.00 CALETT MAD (8/1 Ladbrokes) comes here in good form after a solid second at Kelso last time and can step it up here. He was an excellent fifth in the four-miler at the Cheltenham Festival and can be relied on to keep going right to the line.
Kemp 3.15 JOSSES HILL (8/1 Betfair) looks a decent price for Kempton’s 3.15. Nicky Henderson’s chaser ran well enough when fourth in the Grade 2 Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon last time out. He was coming back from seven months off and a breathing operation there so should improve for the experience.

Sam Turner (The Sun)
Kempton
12.20 Flaminger (15/2 Coral)
12.55 Lomachenko (6/4 Ladbrokes)
1.30 Amour De Nuit (13/8 Betfair
2.05 Charbel (13/8 William Hill)
2.40 Darling Maltaix (NAP) (8/1 Ladbrokes)
3.15 Ballykan (4/1 Betfair)
3.45 Speed Company (10/3 William Hill)

Warwick
12.40 Texan Nomad (9/2 Betfair)
1.15 NR
1.50 Rocky's Treasure (6/4 Ladbrokes)
2.25 Stoney Mountain (4/1 Coral)
3.00 Cogry (15/2 William Hill)
3.35 Notwhatiam (6/1 Betfair)
4.05 Honourmission (9/4 Betfair)
