All Is Good could be the best handicapped of the bunch and produced an improved performance last time, on his first start after a wind-op. Philip Hobbs has an excellent record here at Leicester and Master Work - who will be making his chasing debut after results over hurdles tailed off - has been well-backed to make a winning start.

Leicester, however, is a tricky track for newcomers. The fences come up on you thick and fast and jumping will be at a premium, so I think both of the market leaders could be vulnerable to a solid, in-form sort like BOAGRIUS.

Tom George’s charge has proven himself to be a useful chaser. Boagrius has finished inside the places in four of his six starts over the larger obstacles, unseating Noel George four from home at Huntingdon in November when moving menacingly into the race. A drop back to two miles worked out wonderfully on his most recent start too, as Ciaran Gethings’ mount stayed on strongly carrying 11-9 to secure a half-length victory at Taunton.

The form of that race may not have worked out particularly well, but it was still a career-best display from Boagrius, clocking an RPR in the mid-120s for the fourth time over fences. Like Hobbs, Tom George has a strong winning percentage around this tricky track and I fancy the reliable Boagrius could jump his rivals into submission.
