Form & Verdict
Won the corresponding event 12 months ago (run at Southwell over 1m3f) off a 7lb lower mark; better than ever on turf this summer, notably a second over 1m6f at Goodwood, but a tactical event over this trip isn't sure to see her to best effect.

Form & Verdict
Good pedigree and she has shown plenty of ability in her four starts, winning a 7f Yarmouth maiden and defying a penalty over 1m here in August; perhaps unsuited by slow ground when down the field on her handicap debut in September; should appreciate this extra yardage and she still has her best days ahead of her.

Form & Verdict
Well placed to win five on the bounce since October, the latest win at Wolverhampton two weeks ago looking more comfortable than the neck margin would indicate; into deeper waters this time but no real surprise were she up to the task.

Prolific winner (7-13 on Tapeta) who switches to a visor from cheekpieces having twice finished held off her career-high mark last month; this trip's as far as she wants in this company and she needs to find a bit more for the new form of headgear.

Form & Verdict
She had been threatening prior to a ready win at Southwell 11 days ago (1m4f; first-time cheekpieces, retained), wandering around in front but having the race in safekeeping some way from home; finished behind Tahasun over C&D two runs back and not weighted to reverse the placings.

Form & Verdict
Three wins on Polytrack since June, two of them over C&D, latterly when scrambling home 18 days ago; likely to give her running but others may have greater upside.

All three wins came on Polytrack last year, including over C&D in August, and she bounced right back to form when beaten a head by an unexposed 3yo at Wolverhampton (1m4f, Tapeta) last month; only 1lb higher and respected.

Three wins on Polytrack (1m2f-1m3f) last year but she's been well held on AW in her last two runs, the latest at Lingfield in April; drops back in grade off 2lb lower than for last win but she needs a major revival back on Tapeta.

Form & Verdict
Consistent filly who gained her first handicap success with a narrow defeat of Sweet Fantasy over C&D four weeks ago, idling when hitting the front but responding well when challenged; should remain competitive.

Much better on the AW than on turf, her two wins both coming on Polytrack including over C&D last summer; just 1lb higher than when chasing home a subsequent winner at Newcastle (1m2f, Tapeta) in June and she could go well.

Two wins over this trip on Polytrack last year; another sound effort on AW when second at Newcastle (1m2f) last month but she had failed to beat a rival on turf on her two outings prior to that; has a 5lb lower mark on the grass but others are still preferred.

Two wins over this trip on Polytrack last year and just 1lb higher than for the most recent; has run well on Tapeta, but has failed to beat a rival in her last three starts (two on turf) so has a bit to prove.

Verdict

Four of the six runners were successful on their latest start and of that contingent Tahasun is marginally preferred to the flourishing Queen Of Ipanema. SEA TSARINA wasn’t at her best on slow turf back in September but her novice form has a very solid look to it and stepping up to 1m2f should unlock further progress.[Paul Smith]
