MURAAHIN is still searching for his first career success but the Teofilo gelding could be worth chancing to get off the mark at the 18th attempt having largely been running well in defeat since joining Gavin Cromwell.
Placed in two of his last three starts which include being beaten only a half-length by the useful yardstick Kudbegood back in December he was slightly below par when last seen here earlier in the month when beaten five lengths by Just Brilliant.
He goes up in trip for this latest outing and his first outing beyond one mile could be what the doctor ordered and he can make his presence felt here.

TANSEEQ was a dual-winner for William Haggas prior to joining John McConnell and while he’s yet to add to his tally since his move to Ireland the Havana Gold gelding might be worth chancing to end his drought here.
Having emerged from a spell in the doldrums with a much better effort over this course and distance earlier in the month where he finished a half-length third behind Red Heel he could build on that performance to resume winning ways having finished off well in that latest run.
He appeared to respond well to Shane Foley who again takes the reins and this mark remains workable so he should be involved if repeating that latest outing for his in-form handler.

SIDESHOW BOB has made the frame in both starts over this course and distance, latterly beaten three lengths behind Emphatic earlier in the month and the Big Bad Bob mare can open her account at the eighth attempt.
A steady pace on that occasion might not have helped but he finished off the race well without threatening the winner who reopposes here; however on these revised terms he could overturn the form this time around especially with that one having the worst of the draw.
There ought to be more of a pace to this contest which should suit and she can post a bold bid to get off the mark.

IRISH ACCLAIM was a winner for Clive Cox prior to his switch to Richard O’Brien and the Acclamation gelding is 2-3 for his new yard since joining this yard.
The first of those wins came over course and distance when landing odds of 50/1 on his yard debut back in December and he quickly bounced back from a lesser effort over seven furlongs a week later to score over the same trip earlier this month.
On that latter occasion he held off Fridtjof Nansen by a half-length, overcoming some traffic problems in the process before staying on well late to hold off those behind. He’s been pushed up 5lbs for that win but he’s likely to get another strong pace to aim at here and with the potential for better still to come looks worth sticking with to strike again.
