FRIDAY DUNDALK RACING TIPS – BEST BETS ON THE ALL-WEATHER IN IRELAND
3:45 Dundalk – BetVictor Proud To Support Irish Racing Maiden (3yo+) 5f
COLLECTIVE POWER has finished third in each of his last three starts and the Slade Power gelding can get off the mark here just two days on from his latest effort.
Ed Lynam’s charge drops to the minimum trip here having raced over six and seven furlongs for his last few starts and he could be suited by this distance having found less than looked likely over seven furlongs latest behind Eloso.
He had travelled well into that race however but possibly ran out of steam late so a drop back in trip could prove a positive move and he can shed his maiden tag here.
5:45 Dundalk – BetVictor Casino Handicap (3yo+) 1m
OZYMANDIS can get back on the winning trail here and Ger Lyons’ lightly-raced Brazen Beau gelding could take some beating here.
He has raced just four times, scoring over seven furlongs here in April when running out a three-parts winner over Jeroboam and having looked to have needed his return at the Curragh in September following more than five months off he found only Eagle’s Flight too good over course and distance last month.
Denied by only a short-head having been collared on the line by the winner in a three-way photograph he has since seen the third horse home win to give the form a boost and he could have more improvement to come which can see him defy a 4lbs rise in the weights.
6:45 Dundalk – Extra Places Everyday At BetVictor Handicap (3yo+ 45-65) 7f
HELL LEFT LOOSE is quickly turned out under a penalty following his win at Laytown four days ago and Denis Hogan’s charge can repeat the dose with another victory here.
The Hellvelyn gelding won three times on turf during the 2020 campaign but had been largely out of sorts this season until posting that return to winning form with a neck defeat of Teddy Boy on the beach under this rider and the fifth from that latest run won here on Wednesday.
A 6lbs penalty makes things a bit tougher for him in his quest to follow up but he has won off this mark on turf and if this doesn’t come too soon just four days on then he could double up with a repeat of that Laytown effort.
