Horse Racing Tips

A huge weekend of racing is on the horizon with the Derby, Oaks and Coral-Eclipse all taking place this weekend and while some eyes may be drawn to those big meetings, you can be rest assured that our top tipsters are fully focused on the meetings on Friday.

So check out their top horse racing tips below and don’t forget to click the buttons below to claim the best price on the runners.

ESPRIT ROSE (1.00 Haydock, 6f handicap)

Won on her comeback at Leicester and really caught the eye when swooping wide past her rivals a furlong from home after racing awkwardly from the start.

That win suggested she could be much better than her mark of 72 in time and with that Leicester run expected to help knock the greenness out of her, she must again go well here.

Trainer Roger Varian has his horses in magnificent form and this filly could be one to watch as she goes through the ranks.

MADAME TANTZY (2.20 Chepstow, 7f handicap)

Caught just late on after burning up the Newbury straight over a mile last time and the return to seven furlongs looks likely to suit this free-going sort.

Has been up against better rivals than she faces here and she looks like the ideal type to improve on that comeback run.

Trainer Eve Johnson Houghton has had four winners in the last five days so has her runners in fine form.

FINELY TUNED (4.00 Haydock, 1m3f handicap)

Last of five on his recent return at Kempton does not read particularly well but form figures do not tell the whole story as he was badly hampered a furlong from home when starting to run on strongly.

That was his first run in a handicap and he showed enough to suggest that he is capable of winning off this mark of 77.

Father and son training combo of Simon and Ed Crisford are operating at a 20 per cent strike-rate in the last fortnight and could taste more success here.

TORONADO QUEEN (5.20 Hamilton, 1m handicap)

Made a pleasing return when fourth on the all-weather at Kempton and was dropped 1lb for that effort.

Reason for backing her this time is that the second and third from that kempton run have both gone on to win since and she should improve for that return.
