1:00 Gowran Park – Gowran Park Business Club Handicap (3yo) 7f

Dundalk scorer KOKURA has yet to score on turf, but Johnny Murtagh’s charge is worth sticking with to deliver here back over a more suitable distance.

The Fountain Of Youth gelding has finished fourth on each of his last three starts although in his latest outing at Naas he dead-heated for third only to be demoted for having caused interference.

That run came over six furlongs however and he could do better back over this extra furlong where he can race from the same mark as last time. Soft ground is also no issue and he ought to be in the mix at the business end.

Although the yard is quiet at present he can provide a much-needed shot in the arm for the Murtagh team and he can strike a first win on turf.

1:35 Gowran Park – Coolmore Stud No Nay Never Fairy Bridge Stakes (Group 3) (3yo+) 7½f

Soft ground is no issue to CHAMPERS ELYSEES who is 2-2 for this term and Johnny Murtagh’s charge can bring up the hat-trick here.

A winner on heavy ground at the Curragh last September, the Elzaam filly sent close to a follow up on her final outing at Naas where she was beaten just one length behind For The Trees. She’s since returned to action with a brace of wins at Curragh and Galway respectively, the latter when bolting up by seven lengths from the reopposing Auxilia in the Listed Corrib Fillies’ Stakes.

While that form has taken a couple of knocks she could have more to offer stepping up in grade and as one who is clearly going the right way she looks worth siding with here to continue her improvement.

2:05 Gowran Park – Play Golf At Gowran Park Fillies Claiming Race (3yo+) 1m

Lightly-raced LILANDRA is much less exposed than any of her rivals and the Equiano filly can get off the mark here at the fourth attempt.

Ger Lyons’ charge finished runner-up in each of her first two outings at Fairyhouse and Sligo respectively and her latest effort where she finished sixth behind Gin Blossom is perhaps worth forgiving with her having met trouble in running.

Despite being beaten around eight lengths that day she shaped better than the bare result and could still have further improvement to come. This doesn’t look the strongest of races she finds herself in and she can make her presence felt at this level.

3:05 Gowran Park – Back With MansionBet Maiden (3yo+) 1m1½f

DAYLIGHT COME has had a few chances to get off the mark but Jim Bolger’s charge has bumped into some very useful performers in defeat and the Dawn Approach colt can open his account here.

Runner-up at Naas earlier in teh campaign behind Dawn Patrol he latterly chased home the smart Gold Maze over this trip at the Curragh, beaten four lengths and a repeat of that effort might prove good enough here given that it represents some solid form.

He does have to prove as effective on this softer ground with all his form to date coming on less testing surfaces; but this could represent a decent opportunity for him to get off the mark and although potentially vulnerable to one with more scope he can give a good account of himself nonetheless.
