Horse racing fixtures 18- 24 November – Details of this week’s UK and Irish racemeetings
Brian Healy looks ahead to this week’s UK and Irish horse racing schedule, detailing the best of the action and every fixture going to post over the next seven days.
Another top-class week of UK and Irish horse racing action goes to post from Monday, and there is plenty for punters to look forward to including the Grade One Betfair Chase which dominates Haydock’s Saturday racecard.
There is also classy Grade Two action at Ascot on Saturday with the Christy1965 Chase and the Coral Hurdle both on the agenda; while the competitive Troytown Handicap Chase is the feature race of Navan’s card on Sunday.
MONDAY 18 NOVEMBER
The week kicks off with a schedule of three meetings which sees jumps racing going to post at Plumpton, while all-weather action takes place at Wolverhampton on tapeta in the afternoon.
Completing Monday’s quartet of horse racing meetings is an evening fixture on the Southwell fibresand under the floodlights.
Unfortunately, Leicester’s scheduled jumps meeting has been abandoned.

TUESDAY 19 NOVEMBER
A much busier Tuesday than has been the case in recent weeks, and five UK and Irish horse racing fixtures go to post throughout the day with jumps racing from Fakenham and Lingfield, as well as from Fairyhouse in Ireland.
Meanwhile, all-weather action takes place in the afternoon on the Kempton polytrack; while in the evening there is a fixture at Chelmsford who also race on polytrack.

WEDNESDAY 20 NOVEMBER
A further five UK and Irish horse racing meetings take place throughout Wednesday, and there is afternoon jumps racing from the meetings at Warwick, Chepstow and Hexham; while Dundalk in Ireland are racing on their all-weather polytrack surface.
Completing Wednesday’s fixture list is an evening all-weather fixture at Kempton who race on their polytrack surface under the floodlights where the Listed Hyde Stakes is the feature race on the card.

Five more UK and Irish horse racing meetings go to post on Thursday with afternoon jumps racing from the cards at Market Rasen and Wincanton, as well as from Thurles in Ireland where there is Listed action on the card.
There is also an all-weather fixture in the afternoon from Newcastle who race on tapeta; while in the evening there is also a fixture under the floodlights on polytrack at Chelmsford.

There is also a late-afternoon all-weather fixture at Newcastle on their tapeta surface, while Dundalk in Ireland are also racing with action on their polytrack surface in the evening.

Six more UK and Irish horse racing meetings go to post on Saturday where the feature race of the day comes from Haydock where it is Betfair Chase day at the Merseyside track where there is likely to be several potential Cheltenham Gold Cup contenders on show.
Meanwhile, Ascot’s Saturday racecard features both the Grade Two Christy1965 Chase and the Grade Two Coral Hurdle on a top-quality racecard at the Berkshire venue.
Further jumps racing on Saturday meanwhile comes from Huntingdon, and also Gowran Park in Ireland; while action on the all-weather comes from the meetings at Lingfield on polytrack in the afternoon, and also Wolverhampton in the evening on tapeta.
