Another quality week of UK and Irish horse racing action goes to post over the next seven days, with the big race of the week coming at Ascot with the latest renewal of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes taking centre stage as the week’s main event.

Elsewhere, York hosts the Group Two York Stakes and the competitive Sky Bet Dash sprint handicap both on Saturday’s racecard on the Knavesmire.
