After some thrilling action at York during the course of the last week, there is plenty more for punters to look forward to in the days ahead, with the Listed and Group Three action going to post through the week in Ireland, as well as the Irish Cambridgeshire at the Curragh on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, at Sandown on Saturday there is the latest renewals of both the Group Three Solario Stakes and the Atalanta Stakes; while at Beverley the latest renewal of the competitive Beverley Bullet takes centre stage at the Yorkshire track.

MONDAY 26 AUGUST

Monday is a UK bank holiday, and six UK and Irish horse racing meetings go to post as a consequence where the day’s action comes on the Southwell fibresand, as well as from Epsom, Chepstow and Ripon on the flat.

Meanwhile there is jumping at Cartmel, and also from Downpatrick in Ireland with all six fixtures taking place in the afternoon.
