Horse Racing tips
It’s a bank holiday Monday in Britain and what better way to have a relaxing time than to sit back, relax, wtch some horse racing and hopefully make some money
So check out Monday’s horse racing tips and don’t forget to click the links to take advantage of the best price on offer.
HORTZRADAR (1.20 Ripon, 1m handicap)
Acts well around this course with a win and a place from two starts at the track.
Travelled like the winner here last time but jockey may have made his challenge too soon and Hortzradar was caught late on.
Has won here on soft ground so conditions should be his ideal and his turn may not be far away.
ROMAN DYNASTY (1.50 Ripon, 6f Listed)
Won well on debut at Wolverhampton and ran about as well as expected when seventh at Group 2 level at York last time.
Dwelt in the stalls and missed the break on that occasion, so performance can be upgraded and drop to this level looks a sound move from connections.
Must be given a chance to confirm the promise he showed on debut.
BLISTERING BARNEY (2.55 Ripon, 1m2f handicap)
Outpaced at a crucial stage before staying on really strongly over a couple of furlongs shorter at Hamilton last time.
Application of a hood for the first time should sharpen him up and the step up to this mile and a quarter is another good move.
This is only his seventh start, so he’s less exposed than most, and he could still be entitled to improve. Looks overpriced.
MR PAY (5.15 Sandown, 7f handicap)
Was heavily backed into evens favourite to break his maiden tag at Lingfield last time but blew any chance he had when fluffing the start.
Also ran green through the closing stages so did really well to still finish fifth. That suggests he’s got plenty of ability and champion jockey Oisin Murphy has been booked for Mr Pay’s first start in a handicap. One to watch whatever happens here.
