Chris Loader (@Luckyloaders15) returns with his best bets from the Friday cards at Warwick and Exeter.

Thursday saw us only completing half of the puzzle with the Daily Double, but I feel we are close to a nice-price double coming in anytime soon. I’m hoping our fortunes can change with the following selections.

Friday’s Daily Double

Deja Vue – 3.00 Warwick

Deja Vue looks to be a major player in this rearranged Grade Two. Her trainer Anthony Honeyball has been in fantastic form this season and does particularly well with mares.

Honeyball won this particular race in 2018 with Midnight Tune so knows what types do well at this level. The last time we saw the daughter of Fame And Glory she finished third in a decent handicap against geldings at Haydock over three miles. Today, she will be dropping back in trip, which is not a negative as she’s a prominent racer and shown her best form in testing ground.

She’s well treated and receives 5lb from Desaray Girl so she could easily become favourite by post time.

Dawson City – 4.20 Exeter

Last year I put up this 11-year-old at 16-1 when he won the Devon National for the second time in his career and Polly Gundry’s runner will be seeking the hat-trick.  The key to the son of Midnight Legend is stamina and the course at Exeter seems to play to his strengths. If the ground remains testing, I can see no reason why he will not be winning  again.
