Loader’s Lucky 15 – Four tips across Saturday’s cards

Chris Loader rolls four of his best bets today into this Lucky 15, covering races at Warwick, Newbury and Wolverhampton on Saturday 8th January.

A lot of competitive racing is on display at across Britain & Ireland this Saturday. I’ve been on the Daily Double’s of late and we had a great 23-1 win on Thursday but I’m back on Lucky15 duty this weekend with Racing Tips. My selections for my straight Lucky15 today come from Newbury, Warwick & Wolverhampton. Best odds available with Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Unibet today.

Saturday’s Lucky 15

Nube Negra

This race has always been the plan for Nube Negra after his second place finish to Esprit Du Large in the King Henry VIII Novices’ Chase at Sandown. Dan Skelton hasn’t even entered him for the Arkle so this will be his Gold Cup. The son of Spanish Moon already has good form over fences winning at Warwick on debut and his victory at Fakenham as been boosted. Furthermore Skelton has a good record at Warwick yielding a 25% strike rate this season. The six-year-old is the best horse on ratings and should be the one to beat.

The daughter of Schiaparelli has been running with credit this season without winning. However in this Listed contest I believe she has a strong chance. Going through her form her standout piece surely is the second placed effort behind Lady Buttons at Doncaster. A lot of her racing this campaign has been on soft ground and the drying conditions will really help her. Despite having to give away 2lbs she should be head and shoulders above her rivals.

Mont Des Avaloirs

Mont Des Avaloirs has always has promised to be a fair horse for Paul Nicholls but hasn’t delivered up to expectations. The seven-year-old is stepping up in trip to three miles and Nicholls believe this will suit him. Furthermore his form behind Champ looks the best form on offer and he has a good record at Newbury with some of his best efforts coming her. I believe today can he is day.

Royal Birth

Stuart Williams has been in tremendous form of last showing a 31% strike rate in the past fortnight. Royal Birth has been a stable star for his connections being an eight time winner on the all-weather. The son of Exceed and Excel is the best horse on ratings and the small field would suit. If it becomes tactical I think Royal Birth can pick up the pieces and end this Lucky 15 with a win.
