Horse Racing Tips on Monday, February 14
There are three meetings spread across Britain on Monday, February 14th with the action coming from Catterick, Plumpton and Wolverhampton. Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Monday Lucky 15.
East Street (1.00 Catterick)
Placed in one of two point-to-point starts last spring, EAST STREET justified favouritism to run out a half-length winner at Wetherby on stable/rules debut, despite showing plenty of quirks when push came to shove.
He bumped into the classy Since Day One at Newcastle next time out, when attempting to concede 7lb, yet there is nothing of that rival’s ability in Monday’s Love Racing Handicap Hurdle and therefore he rates a solid play to get back in the winner’s enclosure.
East Street makes his first start in handicaps off a mark of just 108, which looks far from excessive, and he looks sure to benefit from the extra three and a half furlongs in prospect. Trainer Sue Smith has been profitable to follow with her runners here at Catterick in recent seasons, and East Street can enhance that with victory in Monday’s opener.

Monday Lucky 15 Tips. Grand National winning jockey Ryan Mania can ride a winner on Catterick’s Monday card.
The Tin Miner (2.20 Plumpton)
With track, trip, and ground all firmly in his favour, the Gentlemen’s League Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle appears to provide THE TIN MINER with a perfect opportunity to get himself back in the winner’s enclosure.
This son of Presenting has gained two of three career wins here at Plumpton, and he has done well to finish third on both starts since returning from a break.
The most recent of those efforts came at Fontwell when beaten little over a length and the second has since come out and franked the form. That makes a subsequent 1lb weights drop for The Tin Miner look generous, and that’s before factoring in his rider’s 7lb claim.
Chris Gordon has his string in fine form at present and he’ll be hoping that The Tin Miner can continue the run with victory here.
Amlovi (4.40 Plumpton)
Plumpton’s concluding Tie The Knot Wedding Catering Mares’ Handicap Hurdle looks a wide open affair, and with this in mind, AMLOVI is worth chancing.
Adrian Wintle’s mare has bounced back from three non completions with fourth-place finishes at Uttoxeter and Catterick the last twice.
Despite this, however, she continues to plummet down the weights, now finding herself 4lb lower than when landing this race in 2020.
That remains her only victory from 19 career starts, and although it came on heavy ground she seems equally effective on a sounder surface. Jockey Ben Poste retains the partnership on Monday, and with most of her main market rivals having questions to answer Amlovi can be chanced to get herself back in the winner’s circle.
Virgin Snow (7.30 Wolverhampton)
The second foal out of multiple Group 1 winner Snow Fairy, VIRGIN SNOW hasn’t hit the heights of her illustrious dam yet remains a smart mare in her own right and can be backed with confidence in Monday’s Betway Casino Handicap.
This 5yo had pattern-level form to her name in the summer of 2020 and she showed the ability remains in her two starts since returning from a 424-day absence, running better than the finishing position suggests when sixth at Lingfield last month.
That performance can be upgraded as Virgin Snow was forced to make her challenge wide and was short of room towards the finish. She runs off a 1lb lower mark here and should appreciate the less speed-orientated circuit. With Hollie Doyle booked and her yard in good form, Virgin Snow rates the one to beat.

Monday Lucky 15 Tips. Hollie Doyle can get amongst the winners at Wolverhampton.
