Sunday’s 1,617/1 Lucky 15 – Our UK Racing Best Bets On April 3

Horse Racing Tips on Sunday, April 3

There are two meetings spread across Britain on Sunday, April 3rd with the action coming from Hereford and Plumpton. Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Sunday Lucky 15.

Eclair On Line (1.00 Hereford)

The Cazoo Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase opens the card at Hereford on Sunday and whilst the in-form Wigglesworth looks an obvious danger, his tendency to jump left would be a concern at this track.

Prefence instead, therefore, goes to ECLAIR ON LINE, who is one of the least exposed in this field making just his ninth start under rules this afternoon.

Charlie Longsdon’s 8yo was a close third at Wincanton on penultimate run and that form has worked out well with the first and second both winning since. Eclair On Line wasn’t completely done with when falling three-out back at Wincanton last time, and a return to this genuinely good ground looks a big plus.

Eclair On Line is yet to get his head in front under rules, but being a former point winner, it looks a matter of time before he gets off the mark in this sphere.

Technological (2.30 Plumpton)

Milton Harris sends three horses to Plumpton on Sunday, the first of those being TECHNOLOGICAL who takes up an engagement in the Global Herbs Supporting Equine Athletes Handicap Hurdle.

This 7yo Universal gelding was rated in the high 80s on the Flat at his peak, and he has shown definite ability since switched to hurdles, finishing third in three of four starts in this sphere.

Technological has been dropped a pound for the latest Ludlow run, which looks a little generous, and that has enabled him to sneak into this 0-105 handicap hurdle, which is a significant class drop from the 0-125 event he contested latest.

Good ground is imperative to Technological, so conditions are a huge plus, and Bradley Harris claims a valuable 10lb here, which leaves Technological on a mark that he is surely capable of capitalising upon at some stage.

Just Go For It (2.45 Hereford)

The Manor Elite Horsebox Mares’ Handicap Hurdle sees a hot favourite in Maliboo, who scored over fences at Wincanton on Wednesday, but she might be a little vulnerable back hurdling after a quick turnaround, especially to a horse as well handicapped as JUST GO FOR IT.

This mare came good at this track last February, where she was seen running out a dominant 19l winner.

She has struggled to replicate that form subsequently, yet the latest Wincanton second was a step firmly back in the right direction and that run hinted that Just Go For It was well worth another try at a staying trip such as this.

Although up 2lb for that latest run Just Go For It remains only 3lb above her winning mark here a little over 13 months ago, and with the good ground in her favour can be backed with confidence to go close.

Bebraveforglory (3.20 Hereford)

Evan Williams sends BEBRAVEFORGLORY over to Hereford on Sunday afternoon to contest their Royal Equestrian Bedding Frequent Runner Final Handicap Chase and the 6yo looks well worth backing.

This son of Fame And Glory gained a deserved first win under rules when going in over hurdles here on stable debut back in February.

Although unable to supplement that back chasing at Southwell subsequently, Bebraveforglory was beaten a little over 5l and it may have been that the run came a little soon just over a week after that hurdles win.

Bebraveforglory remains on a mark of 90 here, which is the same rating that he defied over hurdles, and winning pilot Adam Wedge retains the partnership. This former point-to-point third remains unexposed over the large obstacles and therefore rates a solid play to get off the mark in this sphere at a track he clearly goes well at.
