Thursday’s 7,683/1 Lucky 15 – Our UK Racing Best Bets On March 10

Horse Racing Tips on Thursday, March 10

There are four meetings spread across Britain on Thursday, March 10th with the action coming from Carlisle, Southwell, Wincanton and Newcastle. Our expert tipster has produced their best bets across the cards, which make up our advised Thursday Lucky 15.

Hiway One O Three (1.00 Carlisle)

Chris Gordon makes the long 322-mile trip north to Carlisle on Thursday with a pair of runners in the opening racingtv.com “Hands And Heels” Handicap Hurdle.

The market favours stable newcomer The Raven’s Return, yet the bigger priced HIWAY ONE O THREE rates the one to be with.

This son of Sageburg has been limited to the seven starts in his career to date, putting up a career-best RPR when fourth in a Uttoxeter bumper last November. Hiway One O Three has not built on that showing in four subsequent hurdles outings, yet he did shape with some promise when fifth switched to handicaps last time out.

He has been dropped 4lb by the handicapper since and has the assistance of 5lb claimer Freddie Gordon in the saddle, so if the addition of a tongue tie manages to eke out even a small amount of improvement then Hiway One O Three could look overpriced at double-figure odds.

Gino Wotimean (4.20 Wincanton)

Noel Williams can land Wincanton’s 10% More, Bet Direct At tote.co.uk Handicap Hurdle with GINO WOTIMEAN.

This 6yo showed little in his first two starts since returning from a 25-month absence, yet he was much improved stepped up to this intermediate distance at Huntingdon last time, finishing a 28/1 third.

Gino Wotimean is 1lb lower here, whilst he remains unexposed over this trip. Gavin Sheehan maintains the partnership this afternoon, and he has a good record when riding for this yard, with 8 of his 12 previous rides finishing in the top three (2 winners).

Army Of India (4.39 Southwell)

ARMY OF INDIA lost his way for the Johnstons, yet he appeared to improve for the change of scenery and gelding operation when a 50/1 sixth (beaten less than 2l) on stable debut here in January.

He looked a shrewd purchase at 12,000 guineas on the back of that and went some way to recuperating that sum when scoring back at this venue last month.

The first-time hood applied that day has been retained, and a 5lb rise still leaves Army Of India looking well treated on the pick of his form, which includes juvenile runs in both the Coventry and Molecomb. An all-weather strike rate of 3-6 can be improved upon with victory here.

Sunday UK Racing Tips. Graham Lee can ride a Leicester winner.

Thursday Lucky 15 Tips. Graham Lee can ride Army Of India to victory in the feature race at Southwell.

Rideau Canal (4.55 Wincanton)

The tote Pool School Now On Youtube Handicap Hurdle doesn’t look the most competitive race, and therefore it could pay to take a chance on RIDEAU CANAL.

Alan King’s charge cut little ice in his first two hurdling starts yet put up a much-improved showing when a 66/1 fifth at Kempton last time.

That run coincided with a step up to three miles for the first time, and on that showing Rideau Canal looks potentially well handicapped tackling handicaps off an opening mark of 101, particularly with bang in-form rider Tom Cannon doing the steering.
