FLORRIE WEBB might prove better for this reappearance effort but the Prince Flori gelding could be worth chancing nonetheless to make a winning return to action.
Henry de Bromhead’s charge shaped with some promise on his debut third at Cork last July although he looked one in need of a stiffer test of stamina. He’ll get that here with the conditions underfoot and the form of that third-place effort when last seen has been boosted with the winner and runner-up both posting subsequent wins.
The winner of that debut has also contested with credit at Graded level so there could be more to come from her and if fully tuned up ahead of her return to action then it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see her going close here.

Point-to-point winner ELUSIVE STAR could be worth chancing back making just his second start over timber for trainer Michael Hourigan.
The Elusive Pimpernel gelding finished a solid fourth on his debut over hurdles at Punchestown last February prior to a stint back between the flags where he was a winner at Loughrea prior to posting a pair of runner-up efforts earlier this year.
Fourth in a Gowran Park bumper earlier in the month where the trip might have been too sharp, he could be seen in a better light now he steps up in yardage. Still unexposed it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see him post a big run here with Robbie Power in the saddle where he can land the spoils and give our tips for Clonmel races a nice-priced winner.
3:00 – Extra Places On The BoyleSports App Handicap Hurdle (4yo+ 80-95) 2m
The third selection in our tips for Clonmel races on Tuesday is DEAUVILLE SOCIETY who boasts a course win and Thomas McCourt’s charge could go well although she’s not tasted success since he scored on the flat here last April.
The Society Rock mare has only fair form over hurdles from her ten tries in this sphere, but she did manage a runner-up effort at Tramore last October behind Macho Mover although she has struggled to back up that performance in her last couple of starts although she may have been amiss at Thurles when last seen.
She returns here from four months off the track and she’s rated only 1lb higher now in the weights than when posting that runner-up effort a few starts back. Although she looks a limited sort with perhaps only a little scope to improve she could nevertheless be worth chancing on her return to do better and in a poor race she could post a big run at an appealing each-way price.

CLASSIC CONCORDE returns from almost five months off the track but Andrew McNamara’s charge ended his last stint in decent form with a pair of runner-up efforts from his previous three runs which include at this venue last October.
The Shantou gelding was beaten seven lengths on that outing, but he’s since got to within a half-length of Askann at Down Royal prior to his absence and if he returns in similar form then he could go one better here.
He was only run down late that day having travelled well into the contest and he had a subsequent winner behind him. Now trying the larger obstacles for the first time he steps out in what looks a winnable first assignment and he can make his presence felt in our tips for Clonmel races as an each-way play.

DEATH DUTY won his first three starts over fences a couple of seasons back which included beating Rathvinden in the Grade One Drinmore Novices’ Chase although he was subsequently absent for two years following a fall at Leopardstown behind Footpad.
Gordon Elliott’s charge was entitled to have needed his reappearance over hurdles behind Benie Des Dieux in the Galmoy Hurdle and he stepped up on that return to post a very creditable fourth behind Chris’s Dream in the Red Mills chase prior to having a crack at the Brown Advisory Plate at the recent Cheltenham Festival.
He finished down the field there, crossing the line in tenth behind Simply The Betts; but this doesn’t look quite so strong a contest and if he were to recapture something akin to his best chase form then he’d likely to go close. He rates highly in our tips for Clonmel races and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him collect here.
4:30 – Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase (5yo+ 0-109) 2m7f
MISTY ADAGE is improving all the time over fences and the Cloudings mare can get back on the scoresheet having ran better than the bare result when last seen.
Jane Mangan’s charge was a winner over this course and distance two starts ago, beating Lacken Bridge by a head having travelled well but appearing to idle in front. She had finished runner-up in two of her previous three starts and although beaten almost fifty lengths at Limerick earlier in the month she can quickly bounce back here.
Her jumping let her down in that contest which turned into an attritional affair where only four finished and she is tried here in blinkers which might help to sharpen her up. She could still have more to offer over the larger obstacles and her current mark might not be beyond her ability to exploit so a quick return to form wouldn’t be a surprise if she’s none the worse for her most recent exertions.

FRONTAL ASSAULT is likely to take plenty of beating in this contest and Gordon Elliott can round off Tuesday’s tips for Clonmel races with a win having made the frame on both previous starts in this sphere.
The Presenting gelding had placed in a point-to-point for Mouse Morris prior to joining this yard where he found only Energumene too strong by just under two lengths at Thurles in January. That winner has struck again since, but he stepped up on that effort to finish seven lengths’ third to the subsequent Champion Bumper winner Ferny Hollow on his next outing at Fairyhouse.
That run sets a clear standard and if he can perform to a similar level here then he ought to take plenty of beating under Jamie Codd where he has the scope for better still to come.
