IRISH RACING BEST BETS – TUESDAY IRISH RACING TIPS AT TIPPERARY
5:10 Tipperary – Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden (3yo+) 7½f
SUNWALK stepped up on his reappearance run at the Curragh where he might have found the trip stretching him to go close next time at Gowran Park, beaten just a head by Bellagio Man at Gowran Park and the Vadamos gelding can get off the mark now.
Andrew Slattery’s charge finished off that race strongly having been held up and the front pair pulled a couple of lengths clear of the rest.
There’s likely to be more to come from him and he sets the standard on form where he’s achieved a rating of 82 after his three career runs. He had a couple of these behind last time and he can progress again to get off the mark.
5:40 Tipperary – Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race (2yo) 5f
LOVEDAY has looked a potentially useful sort in making the frame on all three starts to date, latterly finding only one too good in Harmony Rose at Cork last month where the Bungle Inthejungle filly was beaten two lengths by that rival who reopposes here.
Bill McCreery’s charge was giving the winner 4lbs on that occasion but now enjoys a 6lbs pull with that one which can see her turn the tables now.
She might have did too much in that last outing having raced freely from the front and she’ll need to settle better here. However there could be more to come and she ought to give a good account as she bids to get off the mark.
6:10 Tipperary – @tipperaryraces Maiden (3yo+) 5f
ROSES BLUE can get off the mark having ran better than the result when finishing third last time at Cork behind Quarantine Dreams, fading late and Jessica Harrington’s charge can be competitive again.
The Kodiac filly had found only one too good the time before on the Dundalk all-weather when beaten one length by Iva Batt who has won again since and she can continue to improve.
She’ll have to though if she’s to reverse recent form with Jon Riggens who finished ahead of her last time, but that isn’t out of the question and she could be worth chancing from a high draw to go close.
7:40 Tipperary – Visit Tipperary Handicap (Div II) (4yo+ 45-65) 1m4½f
SWELL TIME has been mixing hurdling with racing on the flat, winning over timber at Gowran Park last July and running with credit in defeat in that sphere.
The Born To Sea gelding made a satisfactory return to the level when finishing third at Navan last month although he was beaten ten lengths behind Santorini Sun having given the front pair too much rope and unable to bridge the gap.
Joseph Murphy’s charge features on a very winnable mark having gone close from 3lbs higher at the Curragh just prior to his latest hurdles success and with this slightly longer trip likely to be in his favour he ought to go well and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he were to get back to winning ways.
