US Horse Racing Tips

The international racing roadshow rolls on with a 10-race card at Will Rogers Downs. The track is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is run by the Cherokee Nation. All racing continues at Will Rogers Downs behind closed doors and here are best US racing tips for the meeting on Tuesday

It’s important to note that you can watch every race with Unibet. All you need to do is sign up to their website and bet a minimum of £1 on any race you’d like to watch.

KEANNA (Will Rogers Downs race 1, 6f, dirt, 7.15pm GMT)

Keanna has obviously had some problems in the last few months having raced just once since May last year and that was a disappointing effort in December at Remington Park. Has won a race though and finished a decent fourth in higher company in her juvenile days and she has a chance if injuries have not harmed her too severely. Worth noting that she’s been working well at the track of late.

UNDIVIDED (Will Rogers Downs race 2, 1m, dirt, 7.45pm GMT)

A weak race can go the way of Undivided, who made a decent enough return to action in this grade when runner-up here two weeks ago on her first start for three months. Made up a lot of late ground on that occasion and can go one better here.

PRETTY BRITCHES (Will Rogers Downs race 3, 6f, dirt, 8.15pm GMT)

This five-year0old mare has finished out of the first three only once in seven starts at Will Rogers Downs so clearly loves it around here. Disappointed at a different track on her first start in six months at the beginning of March but it’s clearly worth noting that she posted the second-fastest time of 32 horses in a five-furlong workout at this course just ten days ago.

BLAME IT ON JR (Will Rogers Downs race 4, 1m, dirt, 8.45pm GMT)

Has had just the one run and you would have needed a search party to find him when the winner passed the post but it was noticeable that he was reluctant to load into the gate and was then very slowly away.

That was in a much better race than this and he wasn’t sent off at huge odds, which meant that he’d presumably been showing signs of ability. Has been working well of late at this course and his latest piece of track work carried the comment “broke handily from the gate”.

That suggests his starting problems could well have been ironed out and he might be worth a bet to display his true colours on the track.

QUICK CALISIA (Will Rogers Downs race 5, 6f, dirt, 9.15pm GMT)

Not much track form to go on here with four newcomers among the field of ten and they will have to be fairly smart to make an impact here. Quick Calisia has been improving with racing and put in a decent performance to finish second on her last start. Before that she’d been given a horrendous run when forced to go eight wide around the final bend before finishing fifth. Should be running on well late.

WHIMSICAL TALE (Will Rogers Downs race 6, 6f, dirt, 9.45pm GMT)

Whimsical Tale was impressive when winning on her debut, powering clear inside the final furlong and is well worth chancing to follow up here. Kept to a lowly level here, she should confirm the promise of that opening run against some exposed rivals.

KOTTONCANDY KISSES (Will Rogers Downs race 7, 1m dirt, 10.15pm GMT)

Likely favourite Ancona will be difficult to beat if she turns up in the same form as when winning by nearly five lengths at Turf Paradise last time but preference is for Kottoncandy Kisses, who has run a string of decent efforts lately and is certain to stay this mile trip.

KAT’S SECOND SILVER (Will Rogers Downs race 8, 5½f dirt, 10.45pm GMT)

Four last-time-out winners in the field but the one who looks most likely to follow up is Kat’s Second Silver who was well on top when winning at this course last week. That made it two wins in his last three starts and he should again be difficult to beat. Should be strong at the finish here.

FIDDLERS TSUNAMI (Will Rogers Downs race 9, 6f dirt, 11.15pm GMT)

This seven-year-old finished behind a couple of reopposing rivals on his last start but that only tells half the tale as he made a big move five wide around the home turn, went well clear before being collared late home. That was his first run for three months and it also came on a sloppy track, which may have sapped his stamina late on. Has stall 10 to overcome but should go well.

LETSPLAYAGAME (Will Rogers Downs race 10, 6f dirt, 11.15pm GMT)

Plenty of inexperienced runners here in this low-grade contest and we’ll take a chance on one of the outsiders in the shape of Letsplayagame. His odds may be based on the fact the formbook says he finished eighth last time but he actually bolted and unshipped his jockey so that run can be forgotten. Had earlier got no sort of run when finishing fifth and that finishing position can be upgraded. Has been off the track for a year so a chance is taken on his fitness.
