6.00 Benadalid (5/1 888Sport)

Templegate (The Sun)

2.10 ANGEL’S HIDEAWAY (8/1 Smarkets) can sprout wings back on a more conventional track. She can be forgiven two modest runs at Goodwood as that helter-skelter clearly doesn’t suit. Before that she was beaten just over a length in the 1,000 Guineas before finishing a close third in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. This 7f trip and decent ground suit well and trainer John Gosden continues in good form.

2.40 SAROOG (11/8 888Sport) has few miles on the clock for a five-year-old and all his best form has come over this distance. His most recent win at Newmarket was impressive as he had plenty in hand crossing the line. This looks a trappy race but he’s the one to beat.

3.10 STRADIVARIUS (4/11 888Sport) can get the better of the gallant Dee Ex Bee for the fourth time this season. Each time there hasn’t been a lot between the pair but John Gosden’s marathon man has always looked comfortable. They met most recent in the Lonsdale Cup at York where Frankie Dettori always had the measure of Mark Johnston’s stayer. There was a length and a quarter between them at the line and there’s no reason why it should be any different today.

3.45 A’ALI (11/8 Mr Green) got stuck in the mud at Deauville last time and should be much happier on this quicker surface. He hit the heights when winning the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot before repeating that form on his first visit to France of the season. Those wins were both over this trip with Frankie on board and the Italian is back in the saddle today.

Rich Jones (The Mirror)

2.10 Pretty Baby (7/1 888Sport)
2.40 The Sleeping Lion (6/1 Smarkets)
3.10 Stradivarius (4/11 888Sport)
3.45 A’Ali (11/8 Mr Green)
4.20 Molatham (2/1 888Sport)
4.55 Arabian Moon (5/1 Smarkets)
5.30 Flavius Titus (NAP) (11/4 888Sport)
6.00 Light Up Our Stars (4/1 Smarkets)

Captain Heath’s Trio (The Daily Mail)

2.40 Theglasgowwarrior (11/2 Mr Green)
3.10 Dee Ex Bee (3/1 Smarkets)
4.20 Molatham (2/1 888Sport)

The Scout (Daily Express)

2.10 Mot Juste (8/1 Smarkets)
2.40 Saroog (11/8 888Sport)
