Eight C&D wins on varying ground, mostly from the front and the latest when back with a former trainer; that was the highest mark he's won off though and he's gone back up 3lb since so the task looks a tough one.

Down the field ten days ago following a break, when usual front-running tactics weren't adopted on first start since rejoining this yard; however, running well in defeat otherwise this year and he's a two-time C&D winner; probably fine on good to soft, unproven on soft; could make a bold bid.

Front-runner; still 10lb higher than when winning over C&D in July last year, but has been beaten less than a length off similar marks in each of his last four starts; faces other speed influences but still respected on first start back with his former trainer.

He was beaten 18l on his debut in March's Brocklesby but showed dramatic improvement to bag Beverley maiden (5f, good to soft) at 25-1 for Stephen Hanlon in May; proved that no fluke when a big-priced second on nursery debut over C&D for Noel Wilson last month and he won at Hamilton (6f, good to firm) just six days later; up 5lb in a much tougher race but he's worth a look; stable debut.
