All British Flat wins (five of them) have been at Goodwood but the last four were on soft ground, latest in June 2025; sixth in this race in 2023 and fifth last year, both on soft; last August saw his only run on good to firm in the last three years and he wasn't discredited, but he needs to step up on this year's efforts, particularly as he's 4lb out of the handicap. |
