Form & Verdict
Missed a golden opportunity in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, instead running in the Mares' Hurdle (2m4f, good to soft) in which she was extremely impressive; fell mid-race in the Irish Champion Hurdle in February and beaten just over 2l by Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle; however, she wasn't seen to best effect around Kempton's sharp 2m and is 4-4 at about this trip, all in Grade 1s; no surprise if she turns the tables.

One of three for trainer; prolific and highly talented mare justified decision to line up in this year's Champion Hurdle when adding a tenth Grade 1 win to her tally (14-18 overall) in good style; had both Anzadam and Golden Ace well behind her on that occasion; 3-3 at this venue, including when 19l in front of Glen Kiln in this season's Morgiana Hurdle; this looks easier than Cheltenham and she's ground-versatile; shock result if she doesn't win.

Versatile as regards ground; prolific and highly talented mare whose record of 13-17 features nine Grade 1 wins, including three at this meeting (Triumph and two Mares' Hurdles); 4-4 at this venue overall; failed to justify favouritism in the Irish Champion Hurdle most recently but ran creditably without managing to confirm December placings with Brighterdaysahead; has less to prove than that rival back at Cheltenham and holds a big chance at the weights; wears headgear for the first time.

Winner of 13 of her 16 starts; bypassed the 2025 Champion Hurdle, instead winning the Mares' Hurdle readily; previously, fell mid-race in this race and beaten just over 2l by Constitution Hill in the Christmas Hurdle; easy winner of Aintree Hurdle after Constitution Hill's fall; had a straightforward task in the Morgiana on return, and was too strong for the reappearing Brightedaysahead here at Christmas.

Form & Verdict
Made it 7-7 over hurdles with something to spare in the Martin Pipe Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival (2m4f, good to soft); has also won on good ground; faces tougher task in first Grade 1 but this 5yo could have more to offer and is the likeliest to pick up the pieces if the big two misfire.

Has won nine of her ten hurdle starts (including last year's Martin Pipe over C&D), with her only defeat coming at the hands of Lossiemouth in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle (2m4f, good to soft) last spring; has looked every bit as good when landing Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle (2m3f, good to soft) and a 2m4f Grade 3 at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting (gave weight and beat Feet Of A Dancer just over 2l) this season; will be hard to beat.

Form & Verdict
Enjoying a fine campaign, winning a Grade 2 mares' hurdle at Ascot (1m7f, good) in January and finishing third in the Mares' Hurdle at last month's Cheltenham Festival (2m4f, good to soft); however, she was no match for easy winner Lossiemouth last time and would be a surprise winner today.

Not at the top of her game in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham (2m4f, good) last month but this sort of trip may be her optimum; neck second to Strong Leader at Wetherby (3m, good) in November and creditable third behind Impose Toi and Strong Leader in another Grade 2 at Newbury (3m, soft) later that month; ran well here 12 months ago; each-way claims if back on song.

Won Grade 2 mares' event at Ascot before finishing third to Lossiemouth in this and the Aintree Hurdle (Wodhooh 8l ahead in second) last spring; has slightly bettered those RPRs in defeat on all four outings this season and she's an each-way player again.

Won Grade 2 mares' hurdle at Ascot (1m7f, good) last January and she's looked better than ever when running really well in defeat against males in Grade 2s at Wetherby (3m, good) and Newbury (3m, soft) on last two starts; she'll be fine now back down in trip and may well be in the mix.

Went close in handicaps (1m7f/2m, good/good to soft) for Nicky Henderson towards end of last year and posted another good second on stable debut in a Grade 3 at Gowran Park (2m, soft) in February; it's possible today's trip will suit this 3m point winner but lots of improvement is needed.

Has failed to kick on since chase debut win at Gowran Park (2m, heavy) in November; however, the best run of her career came when fourth of five finishers in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle (2m4f, good to soft) last April and on that evidence there could be some mileage in her mark; not written off.

Easily won two novice hurdles at Huntingdon (2m, good/good to soft) last season and reappeared with respectable fourth in Grade 1 Fighting Fifth at Newcastle; the step up in trip may suit this 3m point winner but he has bundles to find on form and was pulled up in the Morebattle Handicap latest.

Both wins came at Huntingdon when trained by Ben Pauling; made his stable debut in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, when not beaten far, and he wasn't disgraced when hooded and held up out the back in the Swinton at Haydock (favourite) two weeks ago; this will feel like a drop in the ocean in comparison and, although turned over at a short price last October in his only chase, he should make light work of these two rivals on his return to fences.

Lightly raced for his age; caught the eye in no uncertain terms when twelfth of 23 in the County at Cheltenham on first start for current yard, travelling smoothly but short of room in straight and finishing full of running; very best efforts for previous stables came on good ground and he missed the Scottish Champion when the rain came; still unexposed and a fascinating contender in a first-time hood.

Form & Verdict
Won this in 2023, didn't run in it last year; lost unbeaten hurdling record when falling mid-race in last month's Champion Hurdle and he made a bad mistake at the final flight when winning Cheltenham Grade 2 (2m1f, soft) in January; there's a worry he'll produce another major blunder and he hasn't matched his brilliant peak RPRs when winning twice this season, but he still beat Lossiemouth by just over 2l in the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle at Kempton (2m, good) in December and is a leading player granted a clear round.

Last jumps campaign started well but ended badly, as he took back-to-back falls at Cheltenham/Aintree and then laboured when he did complete at Punchestown; suffered another tumble on his reappearance in the Fighting Fifth in November, which has prompted this switch to the Flat in the hope of restoring confidence levels ahead of a possible bid to regain the Champion Hurdle crown he won in 2023.
