Last year's Queen's Vase winner over this trip and beaten a little over 3l when fifth of seven in St Leger; stepped up to 2m and switched from blinkers to a visor at Down Royal in May when beating Layfayette (recd 4lb) by over 2l, with Dallas Star further back; found 2m4f and far more demanding company too much for him in the Gold Gold; softening ground at York has seen him rerouted from yesterday's Lonsdale Stakes, and this is more winnable; tongue-tie added. |
