Likeable sort who is having a good year, his two 7f handicap wins in the spring followed by a Listed-race second (good to firm) in July; finished on the heels of Persica and The Lost King when fifth in Haydock Group 3 (also 1m, heavy) three weeks ago; that came after a mini-break and he'll be fine back on better ground; has something to find on the figures but can go close. |

Lightly raced at two and a sharp improver this season, initially in 7f handicaps and latterly holding his own in a 1m Listed race at the July meeting (good to firm), beating all bar subsequent Group 3 winner Shayem; this is tougher again and what he'll make of slower ground is open for debate, but unlikely they've reached the ceiling with him. |

All seven races at 7f; progressive in handicaps in the spring and made it 2-3 for the year when doing it readily at Ascot (good) in May; down the field in the Group 3 Jersey at the Royal meeting (good to firm; third of seven in the near-side group) but he's better than that and is not ruled out in view of his previous promise, especially as the step up to 1m could suit. |

Tends to be delivered late; keeps getting better and showed his liking for this C&D when beating nine opponents with plenty in hand in handicap here six weeks ago; should continue on an upward curve and he's well worth his place in this higher grade. |
