Sole success came in four-runner Hamilton maiden (5f, good to soft) but it was a fine effort when second at 66-1 in very valuable sales race at the Ebor meeting (6f, good to firm) and bettered that form when runner-up in Listed event back here (good) in October; floundered on heavy ground next time, however, and down the field in Newmarket handicap on return; work to do even if this track brings out the best in him again. |
