One of two runners for a yard that's won this four times; ran to a smart level on the Flat and made a winning start over hurdles, but reality checks have followed in Graded races won by tip-top juvenile Narciso Has; hardly brings momentum into his handicap debut and has a lot of weight; there will be no ground excuses. |

Very useful on the Flat for John Murphy, achieving a rating of 101; ready debut hurdles winner of Navan maiden (heavy) before fourth of 10 to Narciso Has in Grade 2 over C&D at Christmas, racing a bit keenly and weakening from last (North Shore third); improvement needed but does go on testing ground. |

Dual AW Flat winner won a C&D juvenile hurdle on debut in this sphere; respectable run in a Grade 1 next time but was poor at Listed level at Naas since; has to return to best. |

Won twice on AW for Sir Mark Prescott (7f/1m); bought for 45,000gns and lived up to his name when scoring on yard debut in Punchestown maiden on New Year's Eve, travelling and jumping well on yielding ground; seemingly exposed at Grade 1 level at Leopardstown early this month but definite claims back down in class. |

Half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Impaire Et Passe; won her first three starts over hurdles before a third in Grade 1 at Leopardstown (2m, heavy) in February; may have more to offer in this sphere but she finished behind Selma De Vary last time and needs to resume progress. |

Half-sister to the multiple Grade 1 winner Impaire Et Passe is 3-3 over hurdles, latest two for current yard, weak enough Down Royal contest and considerably better form (hooded) when beating Narciso Has in Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in late November, jumping final two flights the better and asserting from the last; still looks a work in progress and more likely. |

Verdict
An intriguing rematch between MANGE TOUT and Narciso Has, who dominated a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in November. The latter has since won a Grade 2 over C&D at Christmas and will surely get a lot closer here, but the selection could just improve enough to remain ahead. [Alan Hewison]
