Won four of his five races at three; improved with cheekpieces after Queen's Vase fifth, won a 1m5f Group 3 at Newmarket by almost 9l and mastering older stablemate Illinois in the Goodwood Cup (2m, good); dug deep to hold off Rahiebb on soft ground in the St Leger; readily coped with Dallas Star at Navan last month and now continues on the Kyprios route to the Gold Cup. |

Won four of his five races at three, the exception when a close-up fifth behind Carmers in the 1m6f Queen's Vase; improved with cheekpieces, winning a five-runner 1m5f Group 3 at Newmarket by almost 9l and mastering older stablemate Illinois in the Goodwood Cup (2m, good); dug deep to hold off Rahieb on soft ground in the St Leger (Carmers fifth); top-class stayer. |

Plenty went wrong for him racing wide in the 1m6f Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot but he rallied strongly for a close fifth, just behind three of today's rivals; much better with cheekpieces since, winning a five-runner Group 3 at Newmarket (1m5f) by nearly 9l and outgunning his older stablemate Illinois in their duel for the Goodwood Cup (2m, good); that makes him look the strongest stayer in this field and gives him almost the best form. |

Strong form at this venue last season, winning three times here, including a C&D Listed race and a 1m5f premier handicap; never a factor in the Irish Cesarewitch; probably unsuited by very soft ground on his seasonal debut at the Curragh six weeks ago. |

Already a Leopardstown specialist, winning three times there last season over 1m5f, including a premier handicap in September; never a factor in the Irish Cesarewitch here when last seen; would want drying ground to be considered; gelded. |

Fourth in Chester Cup and Ascot Stakes last season, won a four-runner St Leger Trial at the Curragh in August, readily brushing aside front-running Dallas Star; failed to do himself justice when tailed off in the Irish St Leger, made late progress into fourth behind Scandinavia at Navan on return; should be sharper now and may reverse form with runner-up Dallas Star. |

Stepped outside of handicap company (fourth in Chester Cup and in Ascot Stakes) to win a four-runner St Leger Trial at the Curragh last August, readily brushing aside front-running Dallas Star in the final furlong; faced a very stiff task but ran no sort of race when tailed off in the Irish St Leger. |

Won 1m2f Group 3 Ballysax Stakes in 2024 (1m2f, heavy); last win was at Dundalk early last year, having faced some stiff tasks since, career-best when front-running second to ready winner Scandinavia in Navan Listed last month; not as good behind same rival since under similar tactics in Group 3 Saval Beg; bit to find on ratings and step up to 2m looks a big ask. |

Won the 1m2f Group 3 Ballysax Stakes here in April 2024 (1m2f, heavy); last win was at Dundalk early last year; no match for Leinster in a St Leger trial at the Curragh last August; twice placed in small-field AW events during the winter; stronger form in defeat behind Scandinavia at Navan; not certain to uphold form with Leinster. |
