Form & Verdict
A winner of ten races over hurdles and on the Flat; scored in the Cork Derby (1m4f, soft) on most recent start in this sphere; just 4lb higher now, handles better ground and has run well over hurdles here before; okay run over fences latest and can't discount back on the level.

Cracking dual-purpose 9yo has won four hurdles and gained most valuable of six Flat wins at Cork in May; lacks a bit of scope for this game, as shown when a long way off Chichester Park at Kilbeggan; better at the latter venue since, but was still low and left at a few fences.

Verastile dual-purpose sort who's scored four times over hurdles and six on the Flat, including Cork Derby last month on soft; latest hurdle win at Punchestown (23.5f, good) a year ago off 115; ran just okay when well held fifth over fences 15 days ago here; needs a fair step forward on that.

Hold-up sort signed off last season with a 12.5f win at Thurles for Dermot Weld; winning start for this yard at Leopardstown in May over 1m2f; has gone up 14lb for those two wins, but could continue to progress; chance.

Appreciated the step up in trip to 1m4f-plus when winning at Thurles on his final start last season; ex-Dermot Weld; further improvement possible for his new trainer; this may not be far enough to bring out the best in him.

Form & Verdict
No win since 2023; big chance off this mark on best runs over 1m6f/1m4f last season and though well beaten in both runs this term, they were over an inadequate trip; this distance much more suitable and Colin Keane takes over; interesting.

Dual-purpose mare arrives in top form after back-to-back wins over C&D (yielding) and Tramore (1m4f, good) in lower grades; has gone up a total of 13lb but the form of her latest win has since been franked by the runner-up so there could yet be more to come; top rider booked.

Gained second turf win on latest at Ballinrobe (1m5f, yielding) under 5lb claimer; raised 7lb for that 3l success so effectively 12lb higher here with Keane taking over but clearly in good fettle and should run well again dropped slightly in trip (has won over 1m4f on good).

Promise in maidens and far from disgraced on handicap debut at Navan (1m2f, good) where a 3l fourth of 11 in first-time blinkers (retained); could go well if he stays this longer trip, but pedigree raises questions.

Dangerous when gets his favoured soft conditions, as he did when bolting up at Bellewstown in October; however, he's never won off a mark this high, he lacks a run and this ground may be on the lively side.

Five turf wins, most recently here over 1m2f last October off 70; yet to hit form this season however and remains opposable.

Betting Forcast

5/1 Londonofficecallin, 9/2 Truth Be Told, 16/1 War Rooms, 50/1 Royal Saxo, 15/8 Daboya, 15/2 Steel Cut, 8/1 Sea Coral, 12/1 Duke Of Leggagh, 16/1 Deralo Ir, 10/1 Pillar Of Hope

Verdict

The claims of Daboya are obvious as she bids to complete a hat-trick, but this is harder and she’s gone up a fair way in the weights. Cork Derby winner Londonofficecallin can’t be discounted and Truth Be Told, who is also on a hat-trick, is another to consider but a flier is taken on WAR ROOMS. 1m2f has been inadequate the last twice and he looks dangerously well treated on his best runs over this sort of trip last season.
