Sole win in 14 races came in a maiden but he's been banging on the door in handicaps, including races won by Rosie Frith and last time Moltophino; back up 3lb for last time but he was clear of the third, and has to enter the reckoning.

Won C&D maiden (yielding) in May; three fine runs in defeat in handicaps since and was beaten just 0.75l off 2lb higher at the Curragh (5f, gd-fm) when last seen in July; this is a stronger race but can't be discounted.

Improved last winter AW season, winining three times over this trip before disappointing over 6f on final start; a cracking run at Curragh on return last time after 170 days away; should go close now off the same mark.

Prospered after joining this yard, three wins over 5f from six starts at Dundalk; progress stalled when tried over 6f in February and finished last of ten, too bad to be true; much more like it when returning from a break to finish fourth over 5f at the Curragh last month.

A seven-time winner who has run well in defeat here; has been consistent lately, though 6f at Dundalk last time probably stretched him; needs a bit more to score off an unchanged mark.

Verdict

Having run a cracker at the Curragh last time after 170 days away, PRAIRIE GIRL can improve enough from that to get her first turf win off the same mark. Dual course winner Harry’s Hill won at the Curragh last time and has to be respected. Namiid and Bad Boy Rizz shouldn’t be far away. [Tyrone Molloy]
