Benefited from change of headgear when causing 22-1 surprise at Fontwell (2m3f, good; first-time visor) this month; it's hard to predict whether he'll be in the right mood again here but a 5lb rise is manageable. |

Versatile sort who won three hurdle races here in 2022 (2m1f-2m3f); beat only two home on last month's Flat (1m4f) return from a break and fared little better back over hurdles (2m1f) 17 days ago; the fitting of a visor (replacing cheekpieces) needs to rekindle some spark but he's down a further 3lb and this step back up in distance will suit; worth considering. |
