Keen-going sort likes a sound surface; beat Tarawa on the round mile at the Curragh just over a year ago and, after being gelded over the winter, made winning reappearance in five-runner Group 3 over that trip here in May; penalty means he's 3lb worse off with runner-up Real Appeal; down the field over 1m2f at Royal Ascot where he probably didn't stay; not an obvious candidate for headgear but cheekpieces are fitted. |

Reappeared after a gelding operation to win a 1m Group 3 at Leopardstown (good) last month but it wasn't a strong race of its type and he looks vulnerable under a 5lb penalty here; stamina is also not assured (weakened on his previous attempt at about 1m2f). |
