Novak Djokovic To Beat Miomir Kecmanovic 3-1 (Wimbledon – Friday) 10/3

We like Novak Djokovic to beat Miomir Kecmanovic 3-1 on Friday
Novak Djokovic is an odds-on favourite to win the entire tournament, so it is no surprise that, in places, he is as short as 1/66 to dispose of fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in the third round on Friday. He may now be 35, but the number one seed remains tennis’ pre-eminent force. However, Kecmanovic has risen through the ranks so far this season. He has reached the fourth and third rounds of the Australian and French Opens, while also reaching two Masters event quarter-finals. In reaching the most recent of those, at Indian Wells, he reached a career-high 30th in the world rankings, hence his seeding at this grand slam.Though Djokovic is still strongly weighted to win, it might be worth banking on his compatriot giving him a decent game. The bet, therefore, is to take Djokovic to win 3-1.
The two have met twice previously and Kecmanovic even took the first set when they last competed at the Serbian Open. Djokovic came back to win 2-1, but it was a competitive match.Similarly, Novak was far from his best in his opening match against Korean Kwon Soon-woo. He eventually prevailed 3-1, but at 1-1, Kwon looked a serious threat to go 2-1 up in the third set. Meanwhile, Kecmanovic has won both of his matches by that score of 3-1, defeating a useful opponent in John Millman in the first round.Djokovic strolled serenely through his second round encounter, so looks to have put any struggles from Monday behind him. However, this should not be a match he simply casts aside and odds of between 3/1 to 7/2 are generous about his countryman claiming a set.
England +2 Handicap (England vs Australia – Saturday 10.30am) 1/1

Owen Farrell is back for England against Australia on Saturday this morning
Summer Internationals across the board this weekend as the home nations travel to the Southern Hemisphere. There’s a bumper Saturday of action and we think we’ve picked out a standout bet for England’s opener against Australia.
The three game series begins in Perth and Eddie Jones has named no less than 8 uncapped players for the first Test. There are, however, plenty of familiar faces with Owen Farrell and Billy Vunipola welcome additions from injury and absence. Farrell will partner Marcus Smith in an exciting 10-12 axis, potentially looking ahead to next year’s World Cup.
Although the Six Nations didn’t go to plan completely in terms of wins. There were glimpses of a good team, that was experimenting with new combinations. There’ll be the usual solid base from the scrum and plenty of power through the middle. It’s not too different a side which defeated the Wallabies at Twickenham in November
They face an Australia side who haven’t played since November. They’re three games without a win and missing key lock Izack Rodda. It will be really interesting to see how many of their uncapped players get blooded here as well. Surprisingly, it’s the England team that look more experienced, and even more surprisingly to us they’re the underdogs in a fascinating match up.
Therefore, we’re going to be slightly cautious and play England +2 on the handicap spread. That gives us a nice cushion should this be a game of fine margins. That should be more than enough to cover.
Sea King (bet365 Handicap – Saturday 2.05pm Haydock) 11/4

Sir Marl Prescott does so well with staying handicappers and has another in Sea King
Sea King looks a typical Sir Mark Prescott handicap type, and he sends his main jockey Luke Morris up North for the job.
This Sea The Stars colt won extremely comfortably last time out at Doncaster, quickening readily to score by 3 lengths. He looks very much one to keep on side and is clearly on the upgrade going through handicap company. His trainer is a master with type of staying handicapper and he looks really well placed here to go in once more.
The odds of 11/4 currently are more than generous and certainly not guaranteed to be there come race time. Expect a no nonsense ride and Luke Morris to take them along before getting them off the bridle one-by-one in behind.
Max Verstappen To Win (F1 British Grand Prix – Sunday 3pm) Evens

Verstappen could bag himself more points in the Driver’s Championship at Silverstone
Max Verstappen will be determined to reach the chequered flag on Sunday after his controversial first-lap collision with Lewis Hamilton in 2021 ended any hopes of claiming his first British Grand Prix victory.Charles Leclerc will certainly push the Dutchman close — he enjoys racing at Silvertstone and has twice retired from a leading position in recent weeks — but the track should play to Red Bull’s strengths as Verstappen looks to press home his title advantage with a sixth win in the last seven races.
Leclerc has shown he is capable of hooking up a lap in qualifying, with six pole positions from a possible nine in 2022, but Verstappen will surely have too much in race trim and will be confident of passing the Monegasque if he is beaten to pole.
Expect Mercedes to make strides in their bid to close the gulf to the front-runners, but Ferrari and Red Bull will surely still have too much for the eight-time world champions.
