Jonjo O’Neill has a good hand with Pens Man and Joly Maker (feared in that order) but a chance is taken on Irish raider A MERE BAGATELLE, for whom early mistakes were no help when below par over hurdles at Gowran last Friday. He might have gone close in a handicap chase at Downpatrick the time before had his rider not lost his irons when the gelding clouted two out.[Alistair Jones]
