Seemingly boosted by addition of cheekpieces when placed twice last spring (2m5f/2m7f) but, following a break, was below par on both outings towards end of last year; arguably ran better than eventual 19l defeat suggests at Newbury (3m, good to soft) on latter occasion but others appeal more all the same. |

Much better form over fences but he also has a markedly lower hurdles mark and, with cheekpieces added, he was placed on consecutive starts this spring (2m5f/2m7f); had wind op in September and did not show much in Hyland's Cheltenham race (14-1) five weeks ago, so some caution is advised. |
