Useful dual-purpose type; on a long losing sequence; good form in staying races on the Flat in Britain last season, second in the Queen Alexandra and in the John Smith's Silver Cup; had a run on the Flat before a respectable hurdles run at Down Royal in August, disappointing in Galway conditions event in which Buddy One was third.

Battle-hardened dual-purpose horse, but a strong stayer whose close second at Down Royal in August came over 3m; looks vulnerable back at this trip.

Classy on the Flat (rated 101) and this three time hurdles winner ran a fine race on his second start back from a long layoff when a 0.75l second to the 140 rated Reverend Hubert at Killarney when in receipt of 10lbs; a bit to find on the figures here with a rating of 131 but rider's claim helps; place chance.

Smart stayer on the Flat and nice Flat return at Killarney after 13 months off; pick of hurdles form would give him a chance, but hasn't run in this code since being beaten 8l off mark of 131 at last year's Punchestown festival; stays well on the level and might yet improve for going 3m (second try at it).

Smart dual-purpose sort; well suited by the race conditions; twice ran well in defeat at Royal Ascot last summer, third in the Copper Horse Handicap (1m6f, good to firm) and second in the Queen Alexandra (2m5f, good to firm); not seen since a fine second in a 1m6f Group 3 at York 13 months ago; good opportunity for Hannah Smullen if he returns in prime shape.
