Having returned to France after a poor spell in Britain, he's been a rising force again switched to cross-country races and won in the mud at Compiegne over 2m7f and 3m3f on last two occasions (not without incident); 11lb out of the handicap today but French raiders have popped up plenty of times in this discipline, including for this yard, and last month's C&D race was won by a French 5yo who was 17lb out of the handicap; one to note. |
