Fine third from the front in the Chester Cup (2m2f, good) on his first start for Richard Hughes; proved way too headstrong to give himself a chance of lasting home in the Copper Horse at Royal Ascot next time but ridden with restraint and saw things out a lot better when fourth of seven in 2m Newbury handicap (good to firm) since; has a bit to find on the figures back at Listed level. |
