Form & Verdict
Smart juvenile hurdler had a profitable winter including Grade 2 win at Kempton and Grade 1 third at Aintree; fourth to Lossiemouth at Punchestown (third won French Grade 1 since) was another good effort; maiden winner over 1m4f here last year but well held in two handicaps; sometimes they lose a bit of pace for the Flat after a season of hurdling but he's interesting nonetheless.

Dual Flat winner and was a smart juvenile hurdler two seasons ago, winning twice and competitive at the top level; handicapped accordingly and left Joseph O'Brien under a bit of a cloud, albeit when highly tried; if as good as he was and not held back by his fitness after 233 days away, he'd go close; unraced over this far as a hurdler but stayed well on the Flat.

Grade 1 placed as a juvenile hurdler in April 2023 and won a 1m6f Flat handicap at the Curragh that June; while his hurdles performances in December and this April were satisfactory, he appears to be much more interesting today away from soft ground (ran on good to firm just once, creditably) and with this new stamina test, which could be just his cup of tea.

Progressive stayer on turf last summer and polytrack over the winter with four wins during that time at trips up to 2m; soft ground no good at Newmarket two runs back and maybe would have preferred a stronger pace when fifth of seven at Haydock where Paddy Harnett picked up a ludicrous nine-day ban for barely brushing against a rival; he'll be keen to gain compensation and sound surface will suit his mount.

Hadn't been showing up that prominently over hurdles during the winter before running behind Burren Song at Leopardstown last month; badly hampered when his amateur rider went for a rails run that wasn't really there but was going to run a nice race if he hadn't got stopped; fairly risky but could go okay under Coen.
