Both wins over fences have been over C&D, the first in first-time headgear a year ago; not at his best when fifth in the Sussex National back here 13 days ago but must be taken seriously down in grade with visor replacing blinkers. |

Won two in a row here (3m1f, good) last spring to take his Plumpton record to 3-4; rallied for close third of five at Kempton (3m, good) in January, hinting this first crack at a marathon trip could be a good move, especially around here; soundly beaten at Ascot last time but over hurdles. |
