Ran fairly well when second over hurdles at Fontwell (2m5f, good) in May, albeit no threat to winner Doc McCoy and subsequently disqualified after rider weighed in light, but was tailed off over fences last month and has become unreliable. |

Ran fairly well when second over hurdles at Fontwell (2m5f, good) last month, albeit no threat to winner and subsequently disqualified after rider weighed in light; reverts to chasing on a workable mark but seemingly not in peak form this year. |

Ran well on both visits here, winning over hurdles last March and second over fences in December; however, he's been out of form elsewhere on his last three outings, back hurdling on last two, and now has tongue tied first time; not proven over this far; 10lb claimer is recruited. |

2.75l third to Phantom Gold (who is now 4lb better off) three runs back before good-ground wins at Worcester (2m4f) and Fontwell (2m5f); should go well again. |

Emerged from slump in form on last couple of outings, most recently when winning comfortably by over 9l at Worcester (2m4f, good) last month; it's hard to predict whether he'll be in the right mood again here but a 9lb rise ought to be manageable if he is. |

Arrested decline when third over C&D (good) on last month's hurdle return and has possibilities if in the right mood again but has become far too inconsistent to rely upon. |

24th Apr 2026 Good To Soft 2m 5f 164y Class 4 |
11st 4lb |
Four-time hurdle winner who has form figures of 11631 at Fontwell; has mixed record this season but he went close at Plumpton (2m4f, soft) on his penultimate run and was rallying in a close fifth when he unseated two out at Kempton (2m, good) last time; one of two runners for the yard and he's an interesting contender back at this track. |

Gained his spring/autumn wins last year at about 2m; ran well over 2m4f at Plumpton most recently; may remain competitive, back down in distance. |

Took hurdles score to four when winning at Leicester (1m7.5f, soft) in November and produced a solid effort in his follow-up bid off this mark at Ascot the following month; however, he has to be forgiven a below-par effort at Sandown since. |

16th Oct 2025 Good 1m 7f 207y Class 3 |
11st 5lb |
Three consecutive wins over hurdles in May/June (2m-2m7f, good/good to soft) and he was running okay in that sphere last month; however, he has something to find in today's company and he didn't improve for the switch to fences when soundly beaten in January on his sole previous chase start. |

Came up rather short in higher grade last time; solid record (1112) in Class 4 otherwise this term, albeit has shot up the weights as a result; may be in the assessor's grip now. |

It took a return to selling level to regain the winning thread in May but has since gone 112 in 2m4f/2m7f handicaps; getting high in the weights (nudged up another 1lb) but he's pretty solid. |

11st 2lb |
Latest of his four chase wins came off 3lb lower at Stratford in June (2m1f, good); closely matched with Sir Tivo on form over same C&D last time (Captain Cool only third); back after a break; a possible. |

11st 3lb |
Back in prime form when holding on well to score over C&D (good) on last month's chase return and now 4-10 over fences; recent 3lb rise does not look excessive and there's a good chance he'll be right in the thick of things again. |

Three-time winner over fences (once over C&D) in early part of last season; returned from break with two below-par hurdle runs this spring but could be back at concert pitch for this return to chasing; a possible. |
