Verdict
Having shown clear promise over 1m this year, NORTHERN CRACKSMAN looks poised to emulate his dam by getting off the mark at the eighth attempt. Interesting handicap debutante Happy Helen is second choice, ahead of Bestie who may improve for the new trip. Due Consideration and Likleman could well rebound.[Steve Boow]
